Privacy

bascik.dev sets no cookies, shows no ads, and runs no trackers. This page lists the little it does collect and why. It covers bascik.dev and its preview URLs only.

Analytics

bascik.dev uses Cloudflare's server-side traffic analytics to understand site usage. These figures come from requests handled by Cloudflare, not an analytics script running in your browser. We do not install the Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon or collect browser performance measurements through it.

We use aggregate traffic figures and visitor estimates to understand how much the docs are used. Requests can include assets and automated traffic, so they are not an exact count of human page views. Cloudflare processes request data, including your IP address, to produce its analytics; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles the details of each request (such as your IP address and browser) to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse.

What Your Browser Keeps

When you switch between the light and dark theme, the site remembers your choice in your browser's sessionStorage, under the key theme. It stays on your device, is never sent anywhere, and is cleared when you close the tab.
